Advocacy
The Downtown Chamber seeks to be the voice of the Downtown business community. This means that we tackle issues head on, have difficult conversations when needed, and do our utmost to represent our membership and its needs.
Led by our Advocacy Committee and working collaboratively with the Greater Des Moines Partnership's public policy team, the Downtown Chamber is devoted to building and maintaining strong relationships with City, County, State and Regional policy leaders and decision makers.
We strive to stay ahead of issues, and keep the membership up to date on industry trends, legislative proposals, regulatory changes, and other news or topics that would impact their business.
